We recommend doing an initial assessment with AISA, then running follow-up analyses periodically, such as monthly or quarterly, to track progress, address weaknesses, and make necessary adjustments to their training program. For each assessment, we suggest that you use the live-tracking feature to record the rider from the side in walk, trot, and canter on both reins, and then film the rider from the back in trot and canter as they ride away from you down either the long side or the centre line. Note that for the best results, you should assess each pace separately as the assessment will only produce one overall measurement and very often a rider’s position will change depending on the pace. You only need to run the assessment for 10-20s as that gives a really good snapshot of how the rider is sitting.
